CNC or Manual Mill Machinist  
     
 

We have an opportunity for a self-motivated machinist with a strong desire to learn about our products. Applicants must display a professional and productive attitude. Experience with CNC set-up, editing and operation is preferred.

Location:   Sugar Land, Texas
   
Type:   Full Time - Hourly Position
   
Responsibilities:
  • Able to plan, set up and carry out the operations needed to make machined products from raw stock and meet precise specifications.
  • Ideal candidates will have experience and knowledge in operating various machine tools such as CNCs, milling machines with FANUC controls, surface grinders, drill press, and use precision measuring tools/gauges and various hand tools.
  • Interpreting machine drawings, routings and BOMs
  • Must continually strive to learn new techniques and how to operate new
    machines.      
   
Qualifications:
  • A three-year minimum of machining experience or similar on-the-job training in set-up and operating of CNCs and Manual Mills to produce precision metal parts.
  • Candidates should know or be able to learn how to perform machine basic offsets and complete set-ups.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to read and understand machine drawings
  • Possess a professional and productive work attitude
  • Machinists will be expected to learn and acquire the skills necessary to master their trade.
   
Additional Information:
  • Occasional overtime may also be required
  • Positions are available for the second shift, beginning at 11 a.m.
  • Other shifts may be available in the future
   
Salary:
  • Starting hourly wages range from $8-$18
  • Determined by experience, education and potential
