Welker is looking for an organized, articulate, hard-working and detail-oriented person to add to our newly created Inside Sales department. Responsibilities will include account management, customer service resolution, and sales of technical products. Ideal candidates are those who are self-motivated and customer-oriented with the sales and relationship skills to support and grow established accounts, while pursuing new and additional revenue for untapped accounts. Technical aptitude is necessary and industrial sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and support existing customers to increase sales
  • Prospect and develop relationships with potential customers or leads, to cultivate new business
  • Provide ongoing customer and technical  support on existing accounts
  • Generate sales by promoting new and existing products
  • Follow up on pending business prospects
   
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent of four (4) years direct sales experience
  • Strong closing skills
  • Excellent follow-through and organizational skills
  • A mechanical/technical aptitude
  • Ability to build rapport and trust
  • Have great communication and/or human relations skills.
  • Possess a professional work attitude.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and able to learn the Welker ERP software
   
Salary:
  • Starting salaries range from $30,000 to $55,000
  • Determined by potential, experience, and education
