Location:   Sugar Land, Texas
   
Type:   Full Time - Hourly Position
   
Responsibilities:
  • Able to plan, set up and carry out the operations needed to make          machined products from raw stock and meet precise specifications.
  • Ideal candidates will have experience and knowledge in operating          various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, surface           grinders, drill press, and use precision measuring tools/gauges, and          various hand tools.
  • Must continually strive to learn new techniques and how to operate new machines.
   
Qualifications:
  • A one-year minimum of machining experience or similar on-the-job          training in operating machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines,          and machining centers, to produce precision metal parts.
  • Candidates should know or be able to learn how to perform machine      basic offsets and complete setups.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to read and understand machine drawings.
  • Possess a professional and productive work attitude.
  • Machinists will be expected to learn and acquire the skills necessary to    master their trade.
   
Additional Information:
  • Occasional overtime may also be required
  • Positions are available for the day shift, beginning at 6:30 a.m.
  • Other shifts may be available in the future
   
Salary:
  • Starting hourly wages range from $8-$18
  • Determined by experience, education and potential
