Founded and established by Robert H. Welker, P.E., Welker has been designing innovative equipment for the oil and gas industry since 1958. While Robert remains Chairman of the Board, his son, Brian H. Welker, has been leading the company as President and CEO for the past twenty-two years. His knowledge, experience, and leadership have helped guide the company in its effort to generate new, quality products each year.

With seventy-two patents under its name, Welker has established itself as an industrious business, successfully improving traditional designs and continually engineering new ones. On average, Welker obtains three to five patents on new equipment each year.

Headquartered in Sugar Land, Texas, the company has eighteen representatives across the United States. Welker is also ISO-9001 certified and is represented internationally, with personnel located in forty-seven countries. Welker’s broad, worldwide representation helps to ensure customers receive support that is both accessible and exceptional. While the majority of their customers are within the oil and gas industry, Welker has engineered products for the environmental and medical fields and will broaden its enterprise to develop equipment for a variety of industries.

After nearly fifty years of business, the company continues to grow with Josh H. Welker working in sales and Daniel R. Welker in manufacturing. Both are sons of the president and maintain the family’s tradition of innovation and expertise to help the company arrive at its potential.
